The UllrGrass Band Contest 2026 will be held on Thursday January 22, 2026 at 6pm here at New Terrain Brewing Co in Golden, Colorado! The finalists who will be playing are:

• At The Watertower
• Bouldergrass
• Casey Kleeman
• Cottonwood Drifters
• The Dutch Creek Drifters
• Fables of the Fall
• Risky Strings
• Tribonacci

This event is FREE and open to the public, so come on down and enjoy an evening of live music. The winner of the UllrGrass Band Contest will be offered a set at the UllrGrass Music Festival 2026 and a Main Stage set at UllrGrass 2027. Ullrgrass will be holding Fireside Sets for Runners Up and participating bands as well!

As we gear up for UllrGrass 2026, we’re asking our community to dig into their closets and find some winter coats - any size and bring them to the UllrGrass Band Contest on Thursday January 22nd New Terrain Brewing Co from 6-9 pm.
