Lit Society is a Denver-based funk ensemble influenced by the northeast jazz/funk scene of the 90’s and 2000’s. The group which is somewhat of a collective of Denver’s top funk musicians has included members of Lettuce, The Motet, String Cheese Incident, Karl Densons Tiny Universe, Thievery Corporation, Ghost Note, The Jauntee, Funk You, COOL COOL COOL and more.

Although only being together for 1 year the group has risen to be one of the best funk groups in the Denver scene. The incredible lineup for the July 10th show at New Terrain Brewing Company will feature Datrian Johnson (The Word, Galactic) on vocals, Joey Porter and Garrett Sayers (both of The Motet) on keys and bass respectively, Caton Sollenberger (The Jauntee) on guitar, Nate Miller (Thievery Corporation) on sax/trumpet, and bandleader Eric Imbrosciano (Funk You/Cass Clayton Band) on drums … This is about of funky as it gets! 🪩
