Bottlerocket Hurricane is the labor of love crafted by Colleen Murphy, a multi-media artist  and songwriter hailing from Denver, CO. Over the years, Colleen has  brought her musical vision to life through a dynamic, ever-evolving  lineup of talented musicians and songwriters. Each one adds their own  unique flavor to the mix, creating a sound that blends folk,  psychedelia, blues, and bluegrass into a genre-defying, soul-stirring  experience. The result? Our influences are  as diverse as the music we create, ranging from ragtime and bebop to  '70s country rock. We're inspired by icons like Harry Nilsson, the  Grateful Dead, Gillian Welch, and Led Zeppelin—each leaving their mark  on our sound. But more than that, we're driven by life itself: the  lessons we learn, the love we share, and the stories that unfold all  around us.
